General Information about the Personal Data Protection Law

The Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (hereinafter referred to as KVKK) was adopted on March 24, 2016, and partially entered into force on the publication date in the Official Gazette dated April 7, 2016. Some provisions became effective on October 7, 2016.

Information as the Data Controller

In accordance with KVKK No. 6698 and as the data controller, your personal data may be recorded, stored, updated, disclosed/transferred to third parties when permitted by the legislation, classified, and processed in various ways, as explained on this page.

Processing Purposes and Legal Basis of Personal Data

The personal data you share may be processed by us for the following purposes:

  1. To perform the requirements of the services provided to our customers, improve our products and services, and comply with legal regulations regarding electronic commerce.
  2. To identify the information of the data subject for transactions related to the Electronic Commerce Service Providers and Intermediary Service Providers, based on the Electronic Commerce Regulation, the Distance Contracts Regulation, and related legislation.
  3. To manage obligatory payment systems in the banking and electronic payment field, and to organize all records and documents that form the basis for transactions, in compliance with regulations and obligations of other authorities.
  4. To provide information to public prosecutors, courts, and relevant public officials in cases of public security and legal disputes upon request.
  5. To process personal data in compliance with KVKK and related secondary regulations.

Third Parties to Whom Personal Data May Be Transferred

Your personal data shared with us may be transferred to third parties such as our e-commerce infrastructure provider, suppliers, and cargo companies, to carry out our activities. This includes service providers, business partners, domestic/foreign organizations, and other third parties.

Collection Methods of Personal Data

Your personal data is collected through various channels, including:

  1. Forms on our website and mobile applications
  2. Verbal, written, or electronic communication through sales and marketing staff, branches, suppliers, and other sales channels
  3. Physical or virtual environments, face-to-face, or remotely, through methods such as business cards, resumes (CVs), and offers

Personal Data Obtained Before the Enforcement of KVKK

Personal data obtained legally before the effective date of KVKK on April 7, 2016, is processed and stored in compliance with the conditions specified in this document.

International Transfer of Personal Data

Your personal data collected by any of the methods mentioned above may be transferred abroad, in compliance with KVKK, for the purposes stated in this document.

Storage and Protection of Personal Data

Your personal data will be kept confidential and stored in databases and systems, and will not be shared with third parties except as required by legal obligations and regulations specified in this document.

Keeping Personal Data Up-to-Date and Accurate

In accordance with Article 4 of KVKK, we have an obligation to keep your personal data accurate and up-to-date. Therefore, you must share correct and up-to-date data or update them through our website or mobile application.

Rights of Data Subjects According to KVKK

As of October 7, 2016, the data subject has the following rights according to Article 11 of KVKK:

  1. To learn whether personal data is processed
  2. To request information if personal data has been processed
  3. To learn the purpose of processing personal data and whether they are used appropriately
  4. To know third parties to whom personal data is transferred, domestically or abroad
  5. To request correction of personal data if it is incomplete or inaccurate
  6. To request the deletion or destruction of personal data
  7. To request the notification of corrections, deletions, or destructions to third parties
  8. To object to results against the person due to the exclusive analysis of processed data
  9. To request compensation if damages are incurred due to the illegal processing of personal data.
